Tom comes from a musical family – studying piano and playing trombone in high school. He began singing in his Dad's church choir when he was 14. He sang in college with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, and began doing musicals in grad school at Drake University.
Productions
His stage performances include: El Gayo in The Fantastics, Sky Masterson (Sinatra role) in Guys and Dolls, understudy for Johnny Brown in The Unsinkable Molly Brown at Starlight in San Diego, and Lancelot in Camelot (alongside Stuart Damon of General Hospital fame) at San Diego’s East County Performing Arts Center.
Inspiration
Since retiring from a successful consulting business, he has focused on his love of singing. He draws inspiration from the classic pop standards of Frank Sinatra – the Broadway show tunes of Robert Goulet – and the crooning of Tony Bennett – all of which are masterfully performed by Michael Buble.
You will know the music you hear him deliver – always with passion, heart and creative expression. He captures the spirit and energy of the Great American Songbook.
Local Performances
Tom created and performed his first Showcase at the Diversionary Theatre, and frequents the Open Mic events at The Living Room and Hennessey’s in La Jolla and Visions in San Diego. His upcoming showcases are posted on Upcoming Shows here.
